Thanks, but the generalities I know already. I'm looking for the specifics
on this one. It's an old design rear screen projector, with potentiometers
for the dynamic convergence, and I can see on the schematic that the static
convergence levels (centering etc) are set by a DAC chip on the I2C bus.
Therfore I assume that setting is done by the remote control.

Static is normally relating to mechanical adjustments such as centering,
width, height, etc. Dynamic on all relatively new chasis is always done

via
a technician setup menu.

Hello group,

Anyone know how to adjust the static convergence on a Thomson 52RG75J
(ICC9
chassis)?
Dynamic convergence is done with pots under the front facade, but I

think
static convergence is normally done using a service mode in the remote
control. Is this correct?
I don't have an original remote control, so can't enter the service menu
(on orig. menu and + buttons simultaneously). Is there any key sequence
that
can be used on a universal remote control to enter the service mode?

thanks
Dan
