industry is suffering.

We have a lumber shortage but logs are a glut
on the market.


As I understand it, the primary raw lumber exports
to China are hardwoods (Walnut, Cherry, et alia) and
China placed retaliatory tariffs on them, thanks to
your buddy trump.

Most domestic softwood (construction lumber) imports come from Canada.
