It took my a lot longer than that but it wasn't from lack of trying. One
time after leaving the road going backwards my friend rolled down the
window and hung his hat on the adjacent power pole. Two feet the other
way and it wouldn't have been an amusing story.

On a windy day I once encountered a small power line that had fallen down. The wooden pole was across the road. Not having a 4x4 with me, I got out and moved the pole. It was hilarious watching someone yelling and backing off as I did it. So I firmly grabbed the insulated wire and grinned. They probably think I'm superman to this day.
