Florida is among the states I have never had any desire to live. Flat

Trade offs. Yesterday I had lunch out on the lanai and called my friend
in MA where it was 13 degrees. Now they are expecting a foot of snow.
Do you want to go fishing or shovel snow?

The trade off is July and August when I'm sitting in AC, not outside.

It's worth mentioning that in Michigan in July and August I'm sitting in
AC, not outside.

Other than work, I don't have A/C. I sit under the crab apple and watch
the hummingbirds.

Last night's snowfall underperformed. I can still see grass poking up
through it. We expect to see the sun in a couple of days. Woohoo!

Yeah, I see a lot of grass and it's supposed to be in the 40's this
week. I don't mind using my snow shovel for a lawn ornament but the
snowpack is below normal. Winter isn't over yet thought.

Where you are altitude is the deciding factor. There are places up in
the mountains where the snow never melts.
If I hit the lotto, I would have a house in Montana and one here.
