Friction?
Muck in the runners? I have a chest of drawers like that it seems that one
runner is missing some ball bearings, ahem.

soft close as required in that if you push them in the soft closing
mechanism pulls them slowly in the last couple of cm. Attach the drawer
unto the runners and nothing. Anyone with any idea why this drawer fails to
operate like all the others?
