Don't laugh, it happened! Hell, I could sue you just for responding to my
post! People sue for the stupidist things, not saying they will win, but you
still have to respond to it, and that response often involves lawyers and
money.
The basis for the suit was something to the efect that he was a
"professional" giving advice. Someone got hurt, he got sued. If it had been
just any Joe-blow the lawsuit would have never got of the ground, but
because of his business situation some felt that he had some liability.
