As an adhesive chemist for 30 years, my suggestion is to not worry too
much
about the adhesive. This isn't a new application and the adhesive
companies
all figured out how to make tile adhesives long ago. You'll be fine if
you
buy any of the products from any of the tile stores, or big box hardware
stores.

Any differences between the adheisves will be minor compared to the
effects
of poor surface preparation so I'd put my emphasis there.

that and follow the instructions on the container it comes in EXACTLY and
not some generic instructions from a book. the guys that make the stuff
know how to make it work.
