Socialization is one of the arguments for public schools. No classroom
or playground activities for a year or two might make for a generation

Socialization is overrated when it comes to putting kids in public
schools. Kids get socialized in many different real life scenarios just
fine w/o ever being in a public or private school classroom.
Not if they have been under house arrest for the last 4 months, only
getting out for "essential" trips. If you are letting them run around
with their friends it is pretty much like school.
Kids adapt much better and easier than adults do.
