I just tried (barehanded) with my 44-7/8" x 1/2" portaband blade...Took
maybe 1.25 seconds to flip it, and about the same to flip it back...While
the shorter blade might be a little more difficult, it seems far from
insurmountable.

I made a 1/2" x 33" loop from a broken blade and inverted it in 3 seconds,
with gloves.
