Default Reversed bandsaw blade?

I just got a Dewalt bandsaw blade from Amazon Inc for my small Dewalt
portable bandsaw. The teeth are freaking reversed. The blade is only 32-
7/8"and 1/2" wide, so I doubt there is any way to flip it.

Am I missing something? Or that just happens sometimes?

Talk is cheap.

I'd love to see you flip a 1/2" wide 33" long bandsaw blade, without
damaging it.

Any YouTube videos? I will look, but I seriously doubt it.

There are 300 reviews by Average Joe users and nobody mentions
having to flip the blade. Obviously it's a defect/mistake.

Because what's the sense in flipping a $6 blade that has zero value in
its current state when you can sit on your ass and waste more time
waiting for a spoon-fed answer?

Here's another way to look at it: You've wasted more time than it
would take to earn that 6 bucks at minimum wage. On the other hand, if
you flip the blade, it'll take about 5 seconds, and the blade's value
will increase by $6. $6/5 seconds = $4,320/hr.

Stupid shop trick, best done with a worn out fine tooth to minimize
risk. Fold a blade like in the video. Fold it again, against the
bottom edge of a workbench. You now have nine very small coils, hand
it to someone unsuspecting and ask them to hold it. Then watch as
they realize they can not let go without it unfolding back to three
coils.

Throwing it to the floor is the quickest way out. Or (with practice)
take it back and revisit the workbench.

I just tried (barehanded) with my 44-7/8" x 1/2" portaband blade...Took maybe 1.25 seconds to flip it, and about the same to flip it back...While the shorter blade might be a little more difficult, it seems far from insurmountable.

Luckily for me the machine shop teacher who taught me how to weld and fold
bandsaw blades had enough restraint to avoid those stunts. The welding
instructor tried to get me to touch a TIG high frequency arc, like he did. I
told him I'd already used up my nine lives in electrical accidents.

My 1.25" sawmill bands are much more difficult to manage than 1/2" ones. I
unfold new or resharpened blades by throwing them on a brush pile that
absorbs their fury.

Neither a race nor a contest...besides, the effort required is probably exponentally more difficult as the length shortens...Just trying to figure out if the request was real or Memorex...

I did reference a YouTube video, didn't help.

I once worked for a film maker, doing stop-motion animation and special
effects. Videos prove NOTHING beyond the talent (and budget) of their
creator. I can take a Polaroid that shows a wispy ghost behind the subject,
or a flying saucer in an outdoor scene.

I've been stepping frame by frame through parts of "Titanic" to see how
Cameron created his illusions. Rose hit Jack's wrist with the fire axe.
https://social.shorthand.com/Titanic...the-1997-movie

The movie shows how to operate the then-brand-new Welin davits, which many
of the deck hands apparently didn't know, and releasing the pelican hooks on
the gripes. The ship sank before they could launch all the lifeboats they
did have, the last floated off upside-down. Cameron obtained authentic
davits and lifeboats from Welin and used his sinking set to investigate
lingering questions about why not.

Likely a fellow student taught me, certainly not my instructor.
TIG's in the 70s just tickled a bit, "Look at me, I can strike an

=========================
I've accidentally touched the 480V power line above an open breaker. I
wasn't grounded and it only felt like a prick from a metal splinter, but
when I looked there was a little blackened pit in my finger.

The foreman had been grounded when he touched 480V, and it knocked him
against the wall rack of nuts and bolts which avalanched down on him.

A tech working near me grounded a scope probe to the gate drive of an SCR
that floated at line voltage. When he switched on the power the entire probe
cable exploded, badly burning him.

At the same job I heard noise from a nearby breaker box and looked up just
as a fireball blew off its front panel. Bad aluminum wiring connections.

There was a large 3-phase power supply on the floor next to the machine I
was building. I was out sick one day, and the next morning I found the power
supply replaced with black blast residue on the floor and up the near side
of my machine. Two newly minted engineers had tried to determine the correct
phasing to the power supply by holding the leads on the input terminals
while squatting on their heels. Apparently one lost his balance and touched
a nearby electrolytic can with 480VAC.

40KV in a recently disconnected piece of coax hurt, not as much as the 10uF
cap charged to 700V. That felt like my arm was on fire. I was redoing
someone else's sloppy wiring with frayed strands outside the crimps and
apparently hit a loose fine strand.

I bought the first hand-cranked megger I saw and test all my home appliance
repairs with it. The heater wiring in some is very sketchy and I've measured
as low as 1 Meg to ground, before cleaning off the corrosion.
