Despite that being the best method for some reason, that doesn't mean
it's "the mistake you made", that is, the cause of your problem I'm
looking at the last url I sent you and there are a lot of safetly
switched to keep it from mving when it sholdn't.

Read the last page I gave you.

They'll probably give free advice on the phone and if they have to come
out, most warrantees are not transferable, and it probably had expired
anyhow.

Off-topic: What is a hinged rail? "If you have a hinged rail make sure
the rail is fully lowered and locked in position." This sounds like a
draw-bridge, for a really busy stairway. Huh?

rail. We did not receive a hand crank. We have now hooked the power back up.
The chair and rail have power sitting on the floor upright on the brackets.
The chair of course is sitting at an angle because the rail isn't going up the
stairs. We cannot get the chair to move on the track...not sure why but it
won't move. The other question we have is can the seat be reversed to operate
on the other side of the stairs. It will work on the left side, but would be
best on the right side. Any HELP appreciated!
