It looks identical to the male connector adaptor, used on a threaded
garden tap, except is has a slightly larger internal thread on the

There are at least 3 different "standard garden tap threads". Probably
depending on the age of the tap. Hozelock make adaptors which you should
find in good garden centres or even Homebase.
