i) You erroneously assume that everyone that didn't vote would have been
on the remain side.

ii) By your logic all(?) MPs shouldn't be sitting in the house of
commons, especially if you take into consideration those who didn't
bother to vote in the last general election and would have all voted for
someone else rather than the person elected.
