The flanges, though, are made from a soft synthetic rubber
and may not provide enough resistance for downward force.
But since they are sold as a pair, I can cut off the flange
portion from one grip and attach in a reversed manner underneath
the other grip as a support. That may give the rigidity that
I want.
Â* Might want to check that . The right grip is usually on a plastic
sleeve that also carries the attachments for the throttle cables . It
will have a stiffer flange .
