How do they get all the measurements like the optician does? For
example the
distance between your eyes; the width of your face? Not being
critical, just
curious because I have a difficult Rx.

Look at their web page.Â* You can download a 'ruler' on paper that you
can have someone look at for you, or look in a mirror to get the pupil
distance if the eye doctor will not give that to you .

An optometrist/ophthalmologist is required by law to give you a
complete prescription that you can take elsewhere.Â* If they don't,
report them and take your business elsewhere.

But they are not required to give you the pupil distance needed to
properly make a pair of glasses.Â* Not knowing that, the prescription
is useless.

But its trivial to measure that yourself.

Perhaps, but Four Eyes said they have to give you the prescription.
That is only a portion of what you need.

It may be trivial to measure, but if you are off a couple of mm, you
classes are not going to be very comfortable.
