Default Galvanised Roof

I was going to say, from my experience the inside temp of anything painted
black can be a lot hotter than it was when it was a kind of galvanised
colour!
And attempting to put a lighter colour over it seems to make no difference
either!

Would like to prevent further deterioration- paint? What kind of paint?

Bitumen if you want black, household gloss or any metal paint. Or anything
else that's waterproof. Bitumen is best sand sprinkled to reduce summer
temps a bit.
