The PT109 story was written by Ted Sorenson and planted in the New
York times long before the navy had ever issued an official report.

will have to google it to find anything he ever did. LBJ did most of
the things JFK got credit for, after he died. JFK is the one who
almost ended the world over missiles in Cuba and in the end, he did
exactly what the Soviets wanted so they would pull them out.
