What's the battery capacity? 20 kWh? So 4% of capacity after an hour
from a typical small genny? Easier to carry a big diesel battery.
What like 12V 120Ah? - That's 1.4kWh - good for about 5 miles if your
lucky.
And the problem of converting the 12 volt into 360 volt or whatever.

Probably easier to strap another 20kWh battery on the roof and use that
as a spare!
Might knacker the acceleration and cornering ability a tad, but hey ....
