Default Lidl LI 20V batteries

I think you have misunderstood. A warranty from a manufacturer is in
addition to the buyer's legal rights. So manufacturers can exclude
anything they like. Indeed, they don't even need to give a warranty.

A manufacturer can't escape responsibility for the safety of a product
but a consumer doesn't have the same rights against them as they have
against the seller.

OK so its a post almost a year old, but nevertheless, I do not think one can
say batteries are not under warranty, as it all depends on usage and indeed
if they have been abused. Most things would last at least a year, but if it
were five years, that is another thing.
