Your doing it arse about face. Decide where you want the pipe to be,
fix the clips, fit pipe to clips, PoP.

If you are running a completely new pipe run, that makes perfect sense.
If you need to connect to two existing points, it may be better to run
the pipes then fit the clips. I guess it depends how accurate you are.
