So it's a piece of **** then?

The technical term for a piece of **** is "apprentice".

Were you ever an apprentice, or did you miss that stage of maturity?

I think he's missed most stages of maturity

When I was 16 years old I could do a damn site more than the shower of
****e school leavers we have now.

Even the most basic tasks are beyond them. I have two of the useless
****ers this week. One of them was unable to clean up a room we had
been working in, the other was sent to the van for the black 230V task
light but returned 2 minutes later with the yellow 110V task light.

OK I recall when I was younger and wet behind the ears, now experience
takes over so I don't make the same mistakes.

Next time your apprentice comes back with a yellow one after asking for
the 230V light, then that would be the time to have a wobbly with him.

And I could wire up alarms at 14. They are the most basic of electrical
circuits that anyone could wish to meet.
