I haven't had to buy any recently no ones asked for them, so I don't buy themn, how is your stock of square AAs doing ?

Why do you think people want square AA batteries ?
You've asked why AA batteries aren't square, haven;t you managed to work it out yet, I've given you plenty of clues.

If yuo believe peole still want square AA batteries then why not go to some company and get some made and sell them.
