Nope, all of ours are like that.

I live in town of around 200,000 people. I
don't believe any carrier has a depot locally.

We have at least 5 in a town of 40K

Around half have a depot (for failed delivery collection)
15 miles away and the other half around 30 miles away.

Our closest towns are much further away than that.
