Agreed, arrange for delivery to the roof, preferably just in the nick
of time, as you are ready to install them.

The other option would be to rent a shingle ladder / hoist, but even
doing it that way is a lot of work.

Another option would be splitting a package in half, or so, and bring
them up manually (various options).
