This is what surprises me, it ran great back in Nov, could have been Dec....forgot and did it late, but the winter was very mild here in the DC area.

Reminds me of problems with my Troy Bilt snow thrower. Older machine
but made mistake of keeping stabilized gas in it and took to a shop to
fix. Manual had said not to use gas with ethanol but that is all that
is available. Now running dry every season it works fine. Guy told me
that there are carburetors that allow gas to evaporate and even if
stabilized leave gunk behind.
