"half the time"? That don't make sense when I can use another
browser.
Should have been "not required. IE11 is included with all w10
installs". Microsoft in their "infinite wisdom" decided to push Edge,
hiding old faithfull IE11. I run IE11 on all my W10 installs and it
does not require any downloads to get it running.
