That part is true ... not that I've ever bought any of my women either
of those things either.

I turned the wedding ring on my lathe (in brass and had it gold
plated) for my current wife (nearly 30 years so far) because I knew
that would mean more to her than anything I could buy ... and luckily
it did. ;-)

She doesn't want diamond rings or hats, just her Yamaha XV750 kept
clean and running smoothly. ;-)
