The "drawer" under a range is a nod to the code rule that allows the
cord and plug "disconnect" to be behind a "drawer".

It is there for pot storage.


It depends on the range. Most are listed for storage,but a few have
heaters in them and are listed as for warming.

There is a big thing going on around the intenet now on things we have
been doing wrong. One is that draw. They say it is for warming, but
what they do not say is the draw needs the heater in it to be a warming
draw.
