Most of the time, yes. All of the time, no. We need to consult the
authority that wrote it. If we do not accept the authority, then
the Bible is just an interesting religious document.

Study involves time and seeking out multiple resources and researching
the history and time references, etc. Just because someone tells you
something doesn't mean they're right, and that's how I'll always see
anyone who sits in a seat of authority.
