Yikes! How often do people have trouble starting their vehicles at those

Some places up Nawth use engine block heaters overnight to keep the
block from freezing, cracking and the freeze out plugs from popping
out. I'll never go back.

I had one in my Mercedes Diesel. It was nice to have the heat blowing
about a minute after starting the car.

My last four cars had remote starters. Present car has a heated
steering wheel and that is very nice on a cold morning.

Moved to upstate NY, Adirondack Mts. Put a block heater in a 64 and a
half ('65) Mustang 289. Installed in the radiator hose. Worked great
while garaged.

Bubba, my friend, has a Lincoln MKZ with heated and air conditioned
seats. Neat in the desert to have cooled seats.
