Yikes! How often do people have trouble starting their vehicles at those
temps?

Some places up Nawth use engine block heaters overnight to keep the
block from freezing, cracking and the freeze out plugs from popping
out. I'll never go back.


I had one in my Mercedes Diesel. It was nice to have the heat blowing
about a minute after starting the car.

My last four cars had remote starters. Present car has a heated
steering wheel and that is very nice on a cold morning.
