Spotless yes, but you haven't actually removed any dirt have you? If
you didn't rinse it then the dirt can't have gone anywhere.

If you can't see dirt, does it matter? At least until it is so thick
you fall over on it, anyway.

Why does it matter if you *can* see it? :-)

OK, so part of the exercise is to make it look nice but for me that's
not the major reason for cleaning things.
