Bleached kitchen & bathroom floors today, no rinsing, they came up
almost spotless.

Spotless yes, but you haven't actually removed any dirt have you? If
you didn't rinse it then the dirt can't have gone anywhere.

If you can't see dirt, does it matter? At least until it is so thick
you fall over on it, anyway.
