FWIW, the only people that care when a cop shoots a thug are Jesse
Jackson and Al Sharpton and their simple-minded followers. Law-abiding
people are just happy another criminal is dead.


The man in the story I quoted was law abiding and unarmed, but had
dementia (as far as I know).

Therein lies the problem, you don't know and refuse to accept the facts
of witness testimonies who indicated he brandished a firearm. Even after
you're told of that from others prior to your comment above, you still
