The criminals in the US are often brainless and/or on drugs.
Tasers are often ineffective.

FWIW, the only people that care when a cop shoots a thug are Jesse
Jackson and Al Sharpton and their simple-minded followers. Law-abiding
people are just happy another criminal is dead.


The man in the story I quoted was law abiding and unarmed, but had
dementia (as far as I know).
