I found a new
replacement set for $188, and I've been told the shops in our area will
charge me at least $100 to fix it .
Cheap shoes, cheap tools, cheap tires, etc. You get what you pay for. TVs
that sell for $188 barely make it out of their warranty period. You'll get
what you pay for, and often less.
