I've got a service note that I wrote down about a common failure in the
AV-716. R921/922/923 (all 0.47 ohm) and R924 (33 ohm) have a tendency
to open. I always replace all four resistors, and I increase them to
half watt flame proof resistors instead of the 1/4 watt ones the factory
used. All of these are on the main PCB near the area of JL701A, the
flexfoil cable connects. Of course, there are other reasons that your
amp could have failed, but this is easy to check.
