hmm my previous reply didn't seem to show up... well, just posting to say
that this worked for me. the gibberish menu was fixed by holding reset
until the screen flashed twice. my friend's D1025TM had the gibberish AND
the locking, so the "move to key icon, press left, then enter" unlocked
it, and the reset fixed it. Thanks!
