Default indoor antenna

Your best and must reliable way for an indoor antenna is to purchase a set
of rabbit ears for the TV set.

These attic antenna installations are usually not very good for the cost and
time put in to them. You have to get above the roof line of the building.
Rain and snow on the roof will attenuate the signal a bit. If there is a lot
of metal used in the construction of the roof, this will effect reception.
Other buildings near by may also attenuate the signal a bit.

In the end, cable or satellite services are more worth than putting up an
antenna. After a few years they get corrosion, and sometimes fall down. The
end expense for the service you get makes cable a better option over the
long run. This has been proven many times over.
