Default W10 Pro vs Home; worth it? - Xpost

Gah! Forgot to X-Post it!

I have a W7 Home Premium system which I am looking to upgrade before the

I also have a spare W7 Pro COA.

Is it worth trying to get a W7 Pro system up and running to get the W10
Pro digital entitlement, or is W7 Home fine for everyday use?

Apart from the lack of Bitlocker is there anything worth having?

No virtualisation, but VMWare.

No Remote Desktop but TightVNC.

You can control the Windows Update cycle on Pro (allegedly) which may be
a bonus.

It has been alleged that if you have Windows Media Centre installed in
W7 Pro then it gets carried over. Can't find a reference and older
reports say that you don't get the codecs for TV recording anyway. You
do get a free CD/DVD player.

So is it worth the effort for a home user not running a Domain
Controller?
