Well I have. Both central/eastern and West Africa.

You get a different outlook when you see it up close and personal.
Particularly when it is not just short term visits. 2 years in
east/central southern Africa makes you think.


So, lets see if I get this right. An experienced
Africa visitor is flaming a guy who is doing his
best (with what he knows) to gently and accurately
describe a situation he's never seen? Some people
would use this as a gentle teaching moment. Chance
to bring some wisdom and undestanding. Perhaps even
encourage someone to help with the problem. But then,
there's Clare who chooses to kick an honest man in
the balls.
