Default Panasonic DVD/cd Home Stereo

In your case, it may be the pickup, maybe not. I've seen some Pioneer units,
for example, which may read the first few seconds, then freeze, and the
problem is a bad I.C.

Problem is, unless there's a known problem on these, an out-of warranty
repair is probably not cost-effective. Since yours was bought overseas,
Panasonic U.S. will feel no obligation to help you out.

Hello all,

I was reading a previously discussed matter on a Panasonic dvd player,
about how his player would play for 30 minutes or so, and quit.
However, my player will start to read the disc and quit after just
getting started. It won't play dvd's or cd's. After trying to read
the disc a couple of times it says, "no disc". I've tried cleaning
the lens with a special lens cleaner and still the same thing. Also,
I bought this player while I was on a one year tour in Korea. It has
to have the adapter for 110 volts. Although, that seems like
something I should be worried about, the tape player and radio still
work fine. The player is only about 2 years old. Can anybody refer
me to what I can do with my player.

I appreciate your response,
Joseph
