The stuff I have looks like it was "virgin" material. I.e., the
"blobs" that you can see are more "formed" -- the photo you referenced
looks like the stuff has been chopped up and glued back together
as "scraps".

I should see if I can "contrast enhance" my photos to see if that
would bring out more detail. Black-on-black is a tough photo to
shoot!
