True, there are always places where you can't run a cable. I just meant
a cable should be considered first.

Copper is always more secure. Either way, the purpose of network
printing is to share one printer amongst users. In my house
there are 3 desktop PCs, 3 laptops, 2 iPADs, 1 Macbook sharing the printer.
