yeah, he plans to re-sell for parts,
and even explain thet the TFT is bad.

I feel kinda bad because before he bought this thing he asked
me if I could fix a Flat screen display with intereference in the picture?
and I said, yes probably so. However, I didn't know that the so-called
intereference was damaged crystals, or, that he was going to buy
the monitor on eBay. )`:

That's pretty much what I figured,
that the cost of the display might excessive.

He bought it "as is" on EBAY.
Guess he can chalk it up as a lesson learned )`:

He can sell it again. There are more people that need to learn
a lesson. As long as you advertize as 'cracked glass' there is
nothing wrong with that. Some may need it for the enclosure or
whatever.
