Strange, isn't it? Rabid non smokers used to give the smoke in pubs as a
reason to avoid them. But since smoking was banned, they've closed at an
even greater rate.


Its the pubs that cater for families that are still going.
The ones that were for serious drinkers are closing because drink is
cheaper elsewhere. Its not got much to do with smoking bans at all.
