I have never prescribed statins, acid blockers (except in
extreme cases) or flu shots (except in people that could be killed by
flu). I do use rat poison though, up to a certain age group. And I've
never prescribed antibiotics for viruses.
It's what state medicine is all about, if the patient gets
better, he'll bother you less. And the pay is the same. I do not see
patients as goldmines. Teach them how to care for ingrowing nails, you
won't need to operate. Teach them what diabetes is, they won't go out
killing themselves with fads. Ditto high blood pressure.
Self interest ? I suppose so, I like my peace.

Hi Shadow,

Wisdom of Sirach (Bible -- Apocrypha), chapter 38, v9-14:

9: My son, in thy sickness be not negligent: but pray
unto the Lord, and he will make thee whole.
10: Leave off from sin, and order thine hands aright,
and cleanse thy heart from all wickedness.
11: Give a sweet savour, and a memorial of fine flour;
and make a fat offering, as not being.

12: Then give place to the physician, for the Lord hath
created him: let him not go from thee, for thou hast
need of him.
13: There is a time when in their hands there is good
success.
14: For they shall also pray unto the Lord, that he
would prosper that, which they give for ease and
remedy to prolong life.

You do realize how unusual you are in your field?

Speaking of your field, just exactly how difficult is it
to use a word processor to create a sheet on how to
treat a cold? How high to let a fever go before its
healing effect switches to dangerous? Etc.. And to
print out a sheet on how to make real chicken broth?
All you have to do it type it up once.

Instead other members of your field just give out
antibiotics, which creates super infections, also
know as "hospital infections". Both my mother-in-law
and father-in-law were killed by them: death-by-medical.
All because someone was too lazy to explain how to
treat a cold.

Okay, I get it, the customers just want a pill. You
are the professional, I don't care if it is easier
just to give a pill. It is your responsibility to
tell them what they need to know. If the insist
on a pill, give them a bottle of olive leaf.

Speaking of rat poison, I have read and wish I could
relocate for you, the application to the FDA to
accept it as a drug. It is an extremely difficult read.
But when your head stops spinning, guess what? It
had no effect on longevity. And, rat poison was
responsible for two on my customers relatives who
hit their heads and ...

And one of my customer's mothers got a punctured
colon from a colon scan. They just sent her
home to die, which she did. Now I can not
imagine exactly how the technician could have
possible missed that as he was watching it.
Me personally, malpractice my ass, I would have gone
after him for negligent homicide. He could have
explained to a jury how he missed it and why
he ignored her complaints.

Of the seven people I know of that have passed, only
one was from natural causes. The rest were all
the leading killer in this country: death-by-medical.
Heart disease is not the leading killer.

By the say, speaking of your peace, there is an
Allopath in one of the local urgent care facilities
that has saved my life twice now. He use to be
a GP, but couldn't take the stress, so he switched
to ER doctor. I have told him the reason I like
him is that he is a healer, not a treater. And,
he is a force of nature. (Verse 13.)

When I reflect on all the advice I was given about
and how to treat T2, his was the absolute spot on.
It would have been better if I had never gone to
see a GP. (I wonder if I could get my money back?
Probably not.)

Oh and the office staff get really testy when asked
on the phone if this doctor is on staff that day.
Apparently, I am not the only one who admires the
guy. Some crap about HEPA regulations, etc..

Oh and would it hurt for an Allopath to call the Allopaths
at Life Extension and ask them how to treat hypertension
with fish oils? Fish oils never killed anyone.

And another thing, if "I" can go to "Pub Med",
SOOOOOOOOO can the rest of your profession!
(Sounds like you are the one exception.)

You sound like a shining light in your profession.
One allopath at a time! Sorry if I sound like
I am ragging on you. I have to work on that verse 12.
Your profession has to work on that verse 14.

I had to go to a British Web Site (NHS) to find out
about what Metformin really was. I suppose I should
forgive at some point. I eventually will, after I
get over being eternally ****ed.

Did I also mention that I have vets as customers?
I love the part were they show me the EXACT same part
number for items they use on dogs that they charge $3.00
for that humans get charged $80.00 for. Also worked
for a time for an animal pharmacy. Oh holly cow the
exact same drugs for 1/20 the cost! (Not all of
them were exact, but a good number were.) This is
what happens when someone else it always paying the
bills. But that is another story for another time.
