Default what's in your liberal conversation?

With such a large fraction of the population of the U.S. being liberal /
democratic voters, isn't it really way too overly simplistic to lump

people
into a mindless description which categorically describes liberals as not
being 'reasonable' or 'reasoning' people.

It's fascinating to see someone like SM who's apparently completely unaware
of the hypocrisy of claiming a entire group of people aren't "good folk like
us" - especially after some of his more impressive tirades like the one
claiming that homosexuals should be put to death. Then there was his
charming Nazi run-in with HeyBub and oh so many other hypocritical moments
that earned him a place in my kill file. All signed with his Jesus sig.

Jesus would weep at the number of times his name has been put on similiar
intemperate messages that run completely counter to everything Jesus
preached. I gave up counting the number of times I've read his messages
bearing false witness against people he clearly dislikes. But then, what
good are the Ten Commandments to someone willing to tar more than half the
country with insults about their intellect with absolutely no proof.

Wait! But there is proof:

"Yet another new survey shows that Republican supporters know more about politics and political history than Democrats.

On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey titled "Partisan Differences in Knowledge."

The Pew survey adds to a wave of surveys and studies showing that GOP-sympathizers are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans who support the Democratic Party."
