Keep it in the arena of ideas. How ofter do you
find someone on the other side that will actually

other side just name calls. She does not.
Be nice!

Not many liberals can stay on topic. I've
also noticed the endless dumping new distractions
into conversations, hurled accusations, name
calling, and it gets bad after that.

Hi Stormin,

It is like nailing jello to a wall. Mayayana
is a gentleman. It is rare now a days to find
a liberal that will do that.

I have a customer that is a retired engineering teacher
and a huge liberal. He is the old fashioned liberal
that actually believed in free speech. He loves
to talk politics.

What he does is unique. He first asks you what you
think on a subject. Then he repeats it back to you
and allows you to clarify things. He won't say
his part until you agree to with him that he totally
understands your viewpoint. Then he makes his point
based on what you said, not a bunch of name calling.
He is the most open minded liberal I have ever come
across.

He is a total blast. And because of his technique,
you actually listen to what he says. Today's
liberals seem to miss the point that if they
attack you for something you never said or never
thought of, that they are somehow going to bring
you around to their opinion. They really don't
understand what it means to participate in a
free society.
