It was worse than what is shown in the pics, but I still need to get it to the point were I can use it. (I'm assuming it would require heating).
It has to be stripped and painted also, but if I can't make it straight then it is of no use to me, so I'm wondering how those here would go about it.
Darren, strip it, find (or grind) a dolly to fit the slot, and hammer
& shrink it straight again. Now prime and paint.

Of course, if you have access to a brake, it might be better to just
fold a new one.
